EWC // RISE ABOVE

In the build-up to the Esports World Cup, we were tasked with creating a short-form promo series to highlight the biggest players' storylines ahead of the event.

Our idea was to turn players into protagonists - pulling them away from the comfort of their keyboards and into surreal, dreamlike worlds where they had to confront their fears to succeed.

Stylised sets, dramatic VO and exaggerated performances made the films closer to sports promos than typical gaming films.

Across social, the series drew 54 million+ views.
